I’m a democrat because I believe in progressive politics. I believe that the democratic party is a party that thinks about what is right for everyone else rather than thinking about what is right for themselves. I believe that democrats know how important education is, a well rounded, good education, where teachers are respected rather than treated like lesser people. I believe that democrats care about the person that needs some extra help, the democratic party is the party that has compassion for that person rather than disgust. I am a democrat because I don’t think that other parties care about anyone but their own special interests, and the democratic cares about what is good for the American people.
So that’s what I should have said in my interview. Instead of stumbling over my words. Real good job Caitlin. Oh well, nothing you can do about it now, maybe there will be another interview or at least practice for the next job or something… Time to relax.
